Ett vinande eller tjutande ljud \u00e4r vanligtvis l\u00e4tt att uppt\u00e4cka men kan ha flera olika orsaker. I vissa fall kan problemet ist\u00e4llet komma fr\u00e5n ett skadat hjullager eller slitna d\u00e4ck p\u00e5 samma axel. Om dessa orsaker kan uteslutas b\u00f6r fordonets \u00e5lder, underh\u00e5llshistorik och anv\u00e4ndningsf\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden tas med i bed\u00f6mningen.<\/p>\n<p>Om differentialen b\u00f6rjar tjuta direkt efter ett oljebyte kan det vara ett tecken p\u00e5 att fel olja eller en olja med fel viskositet har anv\u00e4nts. Det allvarligaste ljudet \u00e4r ett malande eller skrapande ljud. Detta kan indikera att metallsp\u00e5n har hamnat mellan kugghjulen till f\u00f6ljd av kraftigt slitage. Om lagerspelet eller spelet mellan kugghjulen blir f\u00f6r stort kan det kr\u00e4vas omfattande reparationer eller utbyte av komponenter. Ett \u00f6kat spel kan orsaka knackande ljud vid start, acceleration eller belastningsf\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar. Vinande, surrande och malande ljud f\u00f6r\u00e4ndras ofta beroende p\u00e5 belastningen.
