Men skyddar dessa airbags verkligen?<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify\">Hur fungerar en airbag?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Vid en kollision \u00e4r det tv\u00e5 accelerationssensorer som ansvarar f\u00f6r att utl\u00f6sa airbagen. F\u00f6r att undvika felaktig aktivering m\u00e5ste b\u00e5da oberoende sensorer registrera en kollision. Styrenheten analyserar d\u00e4refter de insamlade uppgifterna och avg\u00f6r om och vilka airbags eller b\u00e4ltesstr\u00e4ckare som ska aktiveras. En gasgenerator fyller sedan airbagsen inom 20\u201350 millisekunder. F\u00f6r att s\u00e4kerst\u00e4lla att processen fungerar \u00e4ven vid str\u00f6mavbrott, vilket ofta sker vid olyckor, \u00e4r styrenheten utrustad med en intern kondensator. P\u00e5 s\u00e5 s\u00e4tt kan airbagen skydda f\u00f6raren \u00e4ven utan extern str\u00f6mf\u00f6rs\u00f6rjning.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify\">Men hur s\u00e4kra \u00e4r airbags egentligen?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">En omfattande studie genomf\u00f6rd i Europa av <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ADAC<\/span> i samarbete med Institutet f\u00f6r fordonss\u00e4kerhet och den tyska myndigheten f\u00f6r v\u00e4ginfrastruktur analyserade 700 olyckor. I kombination med s\u00e4kerhetsb\u00e4lte och b\u00e4ltesstr\u00e4ckare minskar airbags antalet allvarliga till d\u00f6dliga skador vid frontalkollisioner med en fj\u00e4rdedel. Avg\u00f6rande f\u00f6r \u00f6kad s\u00e4kerhet \u00e4r samspelet mellan b\u00e4ltes- och airbagsystemet.
